Close to Sunsets On The Sand are a few of fun places that are *very* easy walking distance (um – just about a few yards north on Gulf Blvd and across the street). One is called Island Marine (https://islandmarinerentals.com/) which has rentals for Bikes, Boats, Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Scooters, and Scoot Coupes. They also offer “adventure packages” for each of these which we are not familiar with, but they sure look like fun! If it interests you, be sure to check them out for more information.

The other is Caddy’s Pub and restaurant (https://www.caddys.com/caddys-indian-shores/) that is fantastic for after a day on the water or beach. Mary says the food is way better here than most of the ‘beach pubs’ along Gulf Blvd. The atmosphere is clean and relaxed. You can even bring any fish you caught today for them to prepare and serve you for dinner! If you are boating, just dock for free on their inter-coastal dock while enjoying your cocktails and meal.

About 1 mile north on Gulf Blvd is JD’s (www.jdsrestaurant.com). We love this one because of the live music and fun vibe. The Piano Bar is awesome (the guy covers just about every musician/group from our era, the 60’s – 70’s). There is also a band playing out back on the patio every night. Put on your dancing flip-flops, casual fun-in-the-sun easy clothes and head up for a night of laughter and singing to the the oldies, or rocking out to the band stand.
